Computational methods for electromagnetics forward and inverse problems have been applied in many advanced applications, such as circuit design, geophysical exploration, medical imaging, and environmental perception. Since it can represent a high-fidelity virtual experiment quite close to the real world, these methods are more reliable than approximate methods.

The aim of this special session is to provide a broad international forum and great opportunity for researchers to share their ideas and exchange information in the field of computational electromagnetics. The session will focus on recent advances in forward and inverse problems as well as their applications in various fields. Relevant topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

-Frequency domain methods

-Time domain methods

-Domain decomposition methods

-Low frequency CEM

-Fast methods

-Inverse problem theory

-Numerical algorithms for inverse problems

-Applications of forward and inverse algorithms in various fields
